Founded in 2022, Pachamae is the result of a city boy from Los Angeles disappointed by humanity’s disconnect from real food and how it’s grown.

Jackson Foster, the founder, rode his bicycle from the USA to Costa Rica in 2019 to start a farm and grow his own organic food. After many years of working the local farmers markets with his wife Natalia who is a bean to bar chocolate maker, they stumbled upon the idea of utilizing one of Costa Rica’s greatest wild resources, the coconut, and transforming it into a stone ground coconut butter that is undeniably the tastiest way to eat pure coconut. Pachamae coconut butter is now produced on their farm in their certified kitchen with the help of an entirely local Costa Rican staff who lives in their town.
